Welcome to my blog: My journey with English

Hello! My name is Luis Enrique Chamorro Rodelo. I am the director of Fundación Enseñanza Integral, an organization dedicated to providing educational opportunities for young people and adults. I am also a committed teacher and a passionate leader in my community.
Learning English is very important for me because I want to improve my professional skills. I believe that speaking, writing, listening, and reading in English will help me access better resources, connect with more people, and teach more effectively. I want to learn English to support my foundation, improve my communication, and expand my impact as an educator and spiritual leader. This blog is part of that journey.

Entry 2 – My Family and Personal Values
Title: My Family, My Foundation

My family is my greatest source of strength and inspiration. I am married and have two wonderful daughters who have always supported me in every stage of my personal, professional, and spiritual journey. Their love and encouragement motivate me to keep growing and learning every day.

As a father, teacher, and community leader, I live and teach values such as respect, responsibility, honesty, and service to others. These values guide my actions and help me be a better person. They also support my process of learning English, because learning a language requires discipline, patience, and a desire to serve and communicate with others.

Through these values, I teach not only academic knowledge but also life lessons. I believe that when we learn with love and purpose, we can inspire others to do the same.

Entry 3 – Hobbies and Interests
Title: Helping Others – My Passion and Purpose

One of my greatest passions is serving others. Through Fundación Enseñanza Integral, I dedicate myself to helping people complete their education and improve their lives. I believe that education is a powerful tool to transform families and communities, and that’s why this mission is also my purpose in life.

I enjoy visiting museums and attending exhibitions, especially those related to academic and cultural development. I always look for opportunities to learn something new, not only for myself, but to share that knowledge with others and guide them toward personal and professional growth.

Learning English has opened new doors for me. It helps me connect with more people, access global educational resources, and bring fresh ideas to my work. English is a bridge that allows me to serve better and expand the impact of my foundation. Helping others throu

Entry 4 – Critical Thinking and Media Literacy
Title: Be Smart Online: Why Critical Thinking Matters

In today’s world, we are constantly exposed to information through social media, news platforms, and digital content. That’s why critical thinking is more important than ever. It allows us to analyze what we read, watch, or hear, and make informed decisions.

As a teacher and community leader, I guide my students to think critically and not believe everything at first glance. I encourage them to ask questions, compare sources, and verify facts. I also help them identify fake news, understand bias, and reflect before sharing any information.

Teaching critical thinking is a responsibility I take seriously. It empowers people to be more conscious, responsible, and independent thinkers. For me, helping others develop this skill is not just part of education—it is a fundamental part of building a better society.

Entry 5 – Crime and Punishment

Title: Justice with Purpose – A View on Crime and Responsibility

As a community leader and educator, I believe that crime is not only a legal issue but also a social and moral concern. Many people who engage in criminal behavior do so due to a lack of education, guidance, or opportunities.

I support the idea that punishment should go hand-in-hand with rehabilitation. Teaching values, offering education, and providing emotional support can help people find new paths. Justice should restore, not just punish.

In my foundation, we emphasize responsibility and accountability. We help students understand that their actions have consequences, but also that they always have the chance to choose a better way forward.

Entry 6 – English in My Workplace

Title: Using English to Empower and Serve

English plays an essential role in my work as the director of Fundación Enseñanza Integral. It allows me to connect with international resources, participate in global educational programs, and share our mission with a wider audience.

In our foundation, I encourage the use of English to access tools, courses, and content that enrich both teachers and students. Understanding English opens doors to innovation and helps us improve the quality of education we offer.

Learning English has also helped me grow as a professional. It gives me confidence to explore new ideas, lead training sessions, and represent our community with pride.

Entry 7 – Final Reflection

Title: A Lifelong Journey of Learning and Growth

Learning English has been a meaningful part of my personal and professional growth. Throughout this course, I have strengthened my speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills, and discovered new ways to connect with the world.

As a lifelong learner, I know that growth never stops. This journey has helped me serve better, teach with more confidence, and support others more effectively.

I thank my instructor and classmates for being part of this process. I will continue learning and using English as a powerful tool to transform lives and build a stronger, more educated community.
